The seed...
Peace of Paper was grown from a seed of desperation. In 2003, owner/designer Jan Hurn was confronted with the reality of being a single Mom. With three young children (one a newborn), Jan knew she wanted to continue to be home with her children, but realized she had to find a way to support her family. During her newborn baby's shower, she had created hand-made stationery as hostess gifts. They were a huge hit with her friends, and as they encouraged her, the idea began to take root.
The roots...
Jan's faith sustained her through her trying circumstances and became the foundation of her new stationery line, Peace of Paper. With pen and paper, Jan began to create her simple, touching cards. Her unique packaging was the finishing touch to her black and white paper blessings. Jan's designs began to get noticed, and orders started to come in.
The blossom...
Peace of Paper has blossomed from that seed of desperation into a rapidly growing company, and Jan's faith-based stationery is now sold and distributed across the United States. Through her simple creations, Jan has found a way to not only sustain her family, but to pass the blessings on.
Whether you need to wish someone a happy birthday, give a gift of thanks, or lift the spirits of someone you love, Peace of Paper is here to help.
